CRASH THE FUTURE:    SATURDAY

“Black as midnight on a moonless night”. Beforhand: Owl Rave admires David Lynch´s Twin Peaks. That´s neither new nor particularly creative, it´s just as it is. His sound spheres are strongly influenced by the collision between the idyllic world and the deep abysses, as in the series: clear, sweet melodies, smooth surface and concrete beats are swallowed by shapeless drone sounds, occasional bass music and techno citation meets ghostly blurred heroin blues. If Bob creeps through Laura´s window and angles lose their wings, owls dance around the fire in the cave.
